Thank you for the information about the problems that Elizabeth McMahon is facing. I have been focusing on other matters and haven't had a chance to finally determine if the Senate Insurance Committee will have a hearing on the use of officers and directors insurance to abuse homeowners. I hope to make the decision in December.

Brian Perkins has informed me of the devastating decision in the lawsuit involving the McMahons. It is, however, extremely difficult to prove racial discrimination in the actions of any organization. Like you, I am at a loss as to what to suggest that might help. If Ms. McMahon has a suggestion, I would appreciate it. You seem to have lost faith that Attorney General Lockyer would do anything, but frankly this is the person to whom I would have to speak to obtain any assistance.
