CAI Community Association Institute is a trade group of lawyers who make a living off off lawsuits they manufacture in homeowner associations. A CAI evangelist, Katherine Rosenberry was hired to write the homeowner association laws for California and asked to create intentional loopholes to "take care of the vendors interests".

CACM - California Association of Community Managers - a group of CAI directors , financed by CAI lawyers who made alot of money suing homeowners and builders started CACM.

ECHO
- a trade group of lawyers, some of who are also CAI members.

Julie Bornstein (D)- Homeowners helped expose assemblywoman Julie Bornstein (D), the anti homeowner lawyer, broker. She did lost her relection bid. Gray Davis (D), the governor of California, who created the homeowner association laws to "take care of the lobbyist" who paid him, hired her as his housing consultant in 2000.

Bill Morrow (R)- is a lawyer and a former prosecutor from Orange County. His election to the Assembly was financed with a $400,000 contribution from a politician in Glendale, California who went to jail for political corruption.

Morrow has been on public payroll as a California politician since 1993.
He represents an area with the greatest number of lawsuits and foreclosures against homeowners.

The Los Angeles and the Orange County media do not provide the public with vital information on pending housing legislation.

With the public kept in the dark bribed California politicians, like Davis and Morrow provide the legal cover for home seizures by profiteers in communities throughout California .

The laws which they make are not laws but claws to steal homes

.Dan Hauser (D) - monopolized the Assembly Housing Committee Chair on behalf of the industry.

Hauser misrepresented laws he was authoring and duped other legislators into passing laws that created unlimited liabilities for homeowners and let lawyers seize homes for manufactured lawyers fees.

In 1993 AHRC members attended CAI award banquets for Hauser and Bornstein the night before the Assembly voted on CAI bills and exposed this legislative scam. He immediately stopped authoring bills for CAI .

Californians voted for term limits law to get rid of entrenched bad politicians like Hauser. In 2001 his political friends attempted passed a law to make an exception to California pension laws to give him a very high pension. Media coverage stopped its passage. Hauser, reportedly, was hired to be city manager in Arcata, California.
