FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

California homeowners rights, homes and savings are being traded in Sacramento as usual by CAI/CLAC/ ECHO lawyers and legislators who represent special interests.

When the
state is reeling under a litigation explosion that is tearing apart the housing industry, these lawyers, their lobbyists and legislators are pushing bills which will only increase their fees.

The following 4 bills are but examples of how lawyers and legislators who represent special interest are dragging this country into a deeper mess.

CAI Community Association Institute is a trade group of lawyers who make a living off off lawsuits they manufacture in homeowner associations. CAI evangelist, Katherine Rosenberry was hired to write the homeowner association laws for California and asked to create intentional loopholes to "take care of the vendors interests". Rosenberry created not laws but claws to steal homes.

CLAC - California Legislative Action Committee - a spin off of CAI to raise money to finace politicians who helped them get laws passed,

ECHO - a trade group of lawyers, some of who are also CAI members.

CTLA - California Trial Lawyers Association - trade-lobby group for the lawsuit industry.

Julie Bornstein (D)- Homeowners helped expose assemblywoman Julie Bornstein (D), the anti homeowner lawyer, broker. She did lost her relection bid.

Gray Davis (D), the governor of California, who created the homeowner association laws to "take care of the lobbyist" who paid him, put her on public payroll as his housing consultant in 2000.
