Subject: Republican Party Preferential Treatment

Dear Mr. Bill Kinney - Marietta Daily Journal:

I wanted to share with you Sir, my public concern regarding preferential treatment within the Republican Party. My best wishes for you and yours always.

SOME PEOPLE NEVER LEARN!

When my husband and I learned of the contiguous connections associated with the Republican Party, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Courthouse, we were shocked at the magnitude and complicity. It would seem that "control" is the key to this relationship.

For those politically active in the area, you might remember when Newt Gingrich relocated to Cobb from Clayton, in order to regain political office. But do you remember the long time party faithful challenger Bob Terrell, who recognized the dangerous nature of globalist policies? While Mr. Terrell had consistently acted as a faithful Republican, he was met not with thanks for his efforts to run, but instead was literally attacked by his own party officials.

And despite the historical perspective, just as shocking or ever escalating is the "Incumbent Protection Plan", being mandated by Party Leaders. No candidate opposing Republican Incumbents, is even posted, listed, or mentioned by any Republican outlet. In fact Republican Challenger Andy Rice in a Senate District 37 Race (West Cobb), was called by GA Senate Leader Tommie Williams, and specifically asked NOT to run against Attorney John Wiles. Williams indicated Wiles was his "bull dog", and therefore did not need opposition.

Similarly, Governor Sonny Perdue has already received public party endorsement. Though Perdue has pre primary opposition from Mr. Ray McBerry (http://GeorgiaFirst.org), the Republican Party in direct opposition to party rules, has funded an extensive publicity campaign to include paid commercial endorsement. For most, even long time Republicans, this 'circling of the wagons' maneuver around Governor Perdue a former Democrat, responsible for deregulation yielding excessive energy costs, instigator of the Diamler Chrysler Plant that never was still costing GA Taxpayers millions, and a man with extensive connections to the legal powerhouse of McKenna Long Aldridge (along with 'Zig Zag' Zell, following his endorsement of Bush/Cheney), such party control is status quo and of little concern for the candidate.

So while Georgians may see more of what 'Sonny Did' or continues to do under the Republican Banner, the question is, do most Georgians prefer to be done with such wanton disregard, restrictions, or even the 'rule of law', available to some and not others? Even if Republicans do NOT choose to honor their own rules, will Georgians finally decide, Enough is Enough! Only the vote will tell, or will it, with computerized voting. Stay Tuned!
