| Summary |
| |
The board members of the Atlantic & Pacific home owners association have been increasing the hoa dues by 20 percent per year over the past two years and indicate that there will be more increases or assessments in the future. There claim is that they need to raise ten years worth of reserves and they are only 21 percent funded. I spend $3,000.00 annually on an HOA that is claiming it can't take care of any repairs like painting, termite tenting, tree trimming, etc. The board also has not provided reciepts for expenses and refuses to look at alternative ways of saving money. This ultimately is hurting residents financially and destroying the re-sale value of units.
