Stop Me Before I Sue Again

I have lost our retirement, our kids' education and our savings to a homeowners association lawyer

4. Have you contacted the California Licensing Law Board?
Have you contacted the California Licensing Law Board? I believe it is illegal to solicit business in that manner. Do you have a copy of the letter?

If you file a complaint with the Law Board they will look into your grevience. If the law firm has done something illegal, they can loose their license, be fined and or possibly spend sometime in jail. You can also write a letter to the judge, again attaching a copy of the letter and the petition your fellow neighbors signed stating that you do not want to sue and have no interest in suing. You can also state in that letter the expense the lawsuit is costing you personally.

There are too many dishonest lawyers making too much money from unsuspecting HOA's. The law board can also inform you if the law firm/lawyer whom sent you the letter has other complaints against them.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

1. What did the managment company do?
I thought it was a violation for an attorney to solicit or pursue a person as a client when they have not been asked or contacted first. What did the managment company do?
