Yes, it certainly appears a certainty that unless we get rid of the corrupt politicians who are using our taxes against us to bankroll these power-and-money seeking "institutes" and other HOA Industry outfits, We The People will continue to lose our freedoms and liberties at an exponential rate.

Editing correction from prior post:
The State Justice Institute did not represent Suzette Kelo, the Institute for Justice did, which according to it's website consists of libertarian attorney members. Just wonder why Ms. Kelo's case and this claimed City public 'use' was not put to a vote at the state and/or federal level, before it made itself to the Supreme Court, which clearly made a political, rather than factual, determination in even redefining the English language in order to come up wit it's determination.
As another published poster on this site has indicated, the State Justice Institute is also a claimed 'educational' institution consisting of attorneys that go state to state holding seminars for state and federal judges 'educating' them in order to facilitate cohesiveness in our courts (and part of that education is instructing judges how to handle pro per litigants that cite the federal or state constitutions and the Bill of Rights and it's provisions in actions before the state or fedearal courts.
Again, as claimed 'educational' non-profit 'institutes' these 'educational institutes' who may be accepting public taxpayer monies in the form of grants, may be actually using that money in order to selectively set 'unconstitutional' precedents or 'instructing' the judiciary against both the Constitution and citizenry at large in their efforts, and it appears with the instruction being given by the State Justice Institute, actually committing treason upon the U.S. Constitution in their 'judicial' seminars - if the information posted previously used in support of the due process violations in this country that various groups are attempting to address is accurate and these seminars are being paid for by taxpayer funds.
Just wanted to correct the error, it was the Institute for Justice, it appears that was involved in the representation of Ms. Kelo from some of the available pleadings, and not the State Justice Institute. The word Institute in any of these organizations claiming they are educational institutions should give anyone pause as to what type of education they are giving, and from where they are primarily getting their funding, as to whether they are a grass roots organization, governmental organization (grant monies), or commercial for-profit organization (as appears MAY be the mix for groups such as the CAI, a PAC trade organization primarily, in the guise of a non-profit educational institution (and whether or not as such, they are receiving any federal taxpayer funds for their 'educational' programs).
Great way to work the system for, it appears likely, some of these 'institutes.'

Would like to challenge any and all published homeowner advocates to do some additional research on the CAI and those connected with it.
As a claimed 'non-profit' educational 'institute' they would technically be eligible for federal grant monies. If so, not only would homeowners living in these communities being paying their salaries through their dues, but also as a 'shell' for their lobbying efforts against them in the various state legislatures.
As the Institute for Justice (who represented Suzette Kelo in that infamous Kelo decision) would appear also as a non-profit insitute, also eligible for federal grant monies, which could conceiveably mean that the monies used in 'defense' of the Kelo case (in which no jury trial was ever request to challenge the 'taking' of Ms. Kelo's property under the 'takings' clause as a public use) could have also been provided by the taxpayers.
The National Commission on Uniform State Laws (responsible for the 14 year lobbying throughout the states of the UCC code, and also UCIOA now) is also funded for their expenses by state and federal taxpayer funds. In essence, potentially your taxpayer funds are being used against you by these claimed 'educational' institutions with the federal governments assistance and consent.
In order to verify, expect to wait a few years for the FOIA request, since 'open government' even with a federal act supporting it, has in recent years become a pipe dream.
Scary, isn't it? And just who is really initiating these non-judicial foreclosures, after all?
