With respect to Comment #1,
If it isn't clear by now, they were 'state created' for additional tax revenue and excessively restrictive land use control, and actually more of a 'use' right than 'property ownership' right at all.....and subject to a 'taking' in the event of failure to pay the excessive taxes, or maintain the property over and above those urban restrictions in 'protection' of 'enjoyment' rights to private property.
And you haven't figured this out by now, having attended at least 5-6 years of legislative hearings on these communities, and the 'sham hearings' that go on to protect this 'state interest?'

Capitalism and the almighty buck, not the Constitution at all....would have thought that, at least, would be clear by now.

Why do all of these state disclosures fail to make these important facts clear to all buyers?
Why does CAI, attorneys and management firms, and developers, all fail to disclose facts material to the decision to buy????
Why is there this unspoken alliance, this conspiracy of silence?
