Thanks so much for the kind words Pink!
We are working hard here to effect change at the local, regional and state levels. We networked with another community and THAG so not to be alone in this. We will continue to run candidates sympathetic to homeowners/taxpayers/consumers (we are looking at local city council races in '07 and fighting TUPCA on the state level currently).
If they finally do get our home because we petitioned last year, that will be the ultimate farse in a system that professes to be over-seas to protect other's freedom. It has caused us to rethink our somewhat standard middle class beliefs/values and has shaken our family to the core (this is like a war on the middle class by the predatory practices of some businesses). We don't want to have to uproot our young children. We can only pray for a miracle and keep fighting these modern day landlords (it seems we are revisiting the middle ages again, but refusing to bow before the master).
We will never give up, even if we lose this court battle and we will continue to mobilize other consumers!

Sorry to hear about your situation. you are so right. Everything you seem to be experiencing sounds a lot like what we experienced in the Orange Country California court system as well.
It is truly disturbing to see your fellow neighbors lie, cheat and steal their way to justice as if it were the norm.
I have absolutely zero respect for our so called justice system. zero. nada. zip.
The liewyers and lietigators are in bed with the judger while circus court jesters transcribe by bribe.
