AHRC interviewed homeowenr association foreclosure attorney Larry Rothman who the Register Newspaper reported in 1991 did 250. homeowner assocaition foreclosures a month.
Rothman told AHRC that he no longer does homeowner association foreclosures and that he has changed his practice to do business litigation.
When asked about the resolution of lawsuit against him by homeowner Irene Jackson, who has since passed away,, he said his fees for the case are still being resolved. Ms. Jackson had told AHRC that had some setbacks on her case because her attorney, Mr. Mathews, because of illness had told her he could not do her trial.
On Ocrtober 27, 2004 Larry Rothman appeared before Judge James Brooks at the Orange County Superior He had been sanctioned $3,000. iawarded to attorney Dilip Vithlani Rothman asked Brooks to lower the sanctions. Brooks lowered it to $500.

A homeowner Irene Jackson had sued her homeowner association and its lawyer Larry Rothman. One of her defense lawyers was Norman Mathews,
Ms. Jackson studied to be a paralegal and did most of the defense in her case. She reportedly died of a brain turmor in 2003.
