We felt the same way about buying land in the middle of nowhere. The people claiming to be the Board illegally sold our 10 acre common area and used litigation alleging that we built a fence without permission as punishment for ourspeaking out opposing the illegal sale. Politicians in high positions in the state are also involved. This is only the tip of the iceberg. There are a number of people who have worked together to harass the Rice family of five,

Many homeowners are grateful that Taffy Rice takes the time to share her knowledge and experiences - you are welcome to do the same     April 15, 2006 I have posted several photos in the past to show the fence in dispute in the case of Lost Mountain township and the Rices ( see Georgia Homeowners News website) None of them have ever been shown. The white plastic fence in dispute measures between 8'4" to 11 foot and is built all round the Rice property despite the existance of neighboring fences. It is a deliberate spite fence since it rises way above the existing fences and above the 8 foot limit that the county allows. Rices have used AHRC to voice thier anger at the subdivsion and the judicial system, yet when it comes down to the truth the AHRC have failed to publish any of the letters sent by any of the other homeowners or attorneys involved in the case. The truth should be allowed to be read by all, a very one sided view has always been shown with all the publications from the RICES. Sanna Say AHRC Response Dear Sanna/Susanna: AHRC has not received any photos from you. We have not received postings from other homeowners or lawyers from Lost Mountain Homeowners Association. Your comments submitted under several articles by the Rices about the fence were published, and the Rice's responded. The Cobb County Code enforcement approved the Rice's fence. Doesn't that conclude the fence issue? Why is a County approved fence creating such resentment, straining the time and resources of government, media and others, and burdening the lives of young children and family members? Taffy Rice is the editor or the Georgia Homeowners News and writes about many issues including her own experiences in housing, courts and politics. Many homeowners admire her talents and are grateful that she takes the time to share her experiences. Again, you are welcome to do the same.
