This assessment is incorrect.
I have actually met with the man; a face-to-face meeting in his office. He told me he has a distrust of the "industry" and is becoming aware of HOA issues because he is receiving a lot of complaints.
We may believe the bill is misguided, but I believe his intentions are to HELP homeowners in "private governments running unchecked" (his words).
