Interesting that a highly paid lawyer such as Stanley Feldsott cannot even spell "ridiculous."
Is that what we pay $200 to $300 per hour for?

Ten Judges Hit With RICO Lawsuit - Jason W. Armstrong
What a great idea suing these 10 out of control Orange County, California judges!
Now Mr. Putman can ask these judges to recuse themselves from presiding over lawsuit he brings in the Orange County Superior Court.

One hundred and forty-eight Greenbrook homeowners have had to hire expensive lawyers as a relut of the class action lawsuit filed by William Tezak.
It is rumored that another lawsuit is being prepared by Mr. Tezak against the Greenbrook Homeowners Association and their lawyer.
If so, the owners of Greenbrook will pay dearly for their apathy.
The premiums the are mandated to pay for will sky rocket. There will be assessments to pay higher insurance premiums and legal fees to the homeowner association lawyer Stanley Feldsott .
The homeowners owners should check to see if the board is covering their manager under the Board of Director's insurance policy. If so they should remove the manager from the board policy. Homeowners should not be financing the lawsuits people bring against managers and other independant vendors they contract with.
CAI lawyers have been advising board members to cover the managers under the Directors & Officer liability policies to finance their legal fees for defending managers.
Homeowners should not hire lawyers who provide such advice and expose them to financial burdens of lawsuits.

Why don't all of you just sit down a minute. The association must now apply civl code section 1368 and explain what Tezak can do to build RV access like other neighbors have done or why they will not let him do it.
The association should not just tell him NO and back it up with an attorney, they owe some respect to this member, after all he is an assesment paying memeber isn't he?
Association power play. Digruntled California citizen. That's all this is.
It will cost everyone some money before it's over. Although I must say, it is one way to get the WHOLE commuity involved!
Guess the neighbor's in this matter can't say "it's none of my business... let the board handle it". Maybe some lights will go on in sensible minds when the whole neighborhood gets educated about 'common interest developments'.

This has got to be, in my opinion, the most rediculous lawsuit filed invoving a community association and its members. The players: Attorney Putnam was reprimanded by the State Bar in 1995 and actually suspended from the practice of law for five months from October 27, 2000 to March 27, 2001 according to State Bar records.
Tezak was sued by his Association for building a 29 foot wide gate and related structures without archetectural approval. The Tezaks requested approval twice and received denials both times. They then just went ahead with construction. The Tezaks lost at trial and then lost on appeal. Because of the Tezaks failure to comply with the Court's order, contempt proceedings were initiated.
The lawsuit is not a class action, it's just called a class action by Tezak. Members began being served with the complaint on the very same day the Association received a request from Tezak to approve the very gate the association twice denied and the court ordered removed. You don't have to be a genius to figure out whats going on. The alleged violations have been there for years, in many cases approved by the Association and at best involve trivia.
Stanley Feldsott
Attorney for Greenbrook Fountain Valley Homeowners Association
