FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TO ALL MEDIA
Galaxy residents Pooja Dhawan, Pat Dhawan, Gina Riggi, Barbara Torkey and one other resident have filed an answer in New Jersey Superior Court in response to a lawsuit brought by a board member, Chad Gulrajaney.
The lawsuit arises from statements concerning Mr. Gulrajaney's fitness for office as a Galaxy board member last March. Statements about Mr. Gulrajaney's potential conflict of interest and other matters were published on RESIDENTS PRIVATE INTERNET YAHOO GROUPS MESSAGE BOARDS.
The residents sued believe the lawsuit is frivolous and designed to deter their free speech rights. In addition, the residents sued have asserted that the lawsuit is in violation of the historic Appellate Division of Superior Court of New Jersey's decision in a suit brought by the American Civil
Liberties Union of New Jersey on behalf of the Guttenberg Taxpayers and Rentpayers Association against the Galaxy Towers Condominium Association.
