Barack Obama, a supposed ex-Constitutional law professor who, in a recent Democratic debate put forth his 'solution' to the Iraqi conflict would be to withdraw but begin building schools in the region, as I understood his comment. Would like to know where in the Constitution it gives the President authority to spend taxpayer funds establishing schools in foreign countries, when our own could use a great deal of work and LESS federal intervention. It would seem to me in order for such a 'solution' to be possible, we would need to annex Iraq as the 51st state.
These politicians get more incredible in their 'legal' understandings of our form of government each time they open their mouths at these 'dog and pony' debates.
I wonder which anthem would be played at this schools - since the Star Spangled Banner is ringing more and more hollow every day for the existing 50.
