I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Why does this not surprise me? I have maintained for many years, having experienced the horrors of HOA litigation in the orange county courts, that it is so up close and personal that it detrimentally affects you at the core of your life, on the home sweet home front.
It affects your children in the most severe way, at home, in the neighborhood, at school and throughout the community. They can't get away from it. It haunts them it taunts them. HOA litigation is the ultimate bully and can be a virtual death sentence for sanity, joy, and life.
I know of one family who was deeply entrenched in the HOA litigation vortex for several years, unable to escape it. Their teenage child arrived at the hospital emergency room nearly comatose, and coming out of it and screaming that they didn't want any more lawsuits, or lawyers, or litigation, and that they couldn't take it anymore.
The HOA litigation vortex sucked the children in and nearly sucked the life of out of them at the same time. It was unbearable for this young teenager. Years of mental duress at the hands of process servers, lawyers, judges, and evil neighbors who took great joy in stealing the joy of others.
The HOA lawyers could careless. They are ruthless. They have one thing on their mind - money. Justice is "just-ice". You get laid out on the cold slab of "just-ice" and they slice and dice you till you are dead minced meat. The misconduct in the courts is very real. And yes, people do lie. I heard the lies too. Nobody wins.
Unless one experiences it, you can not believe that so many business suits in one room could be so deceitful and cruel and vindictive. Even the lawyer at the helm cloaked in the black robe of "justice". It stands for nothing!
I know what you mean when you refer to the fact that the judge had a trial without your presence. I have heard of that happening on more than one occassion in the orange county court system. HOW CAN THAT BE???
There is blood on the hands of the system. This is not the first time. I venture to guess it won't be the last.
I can not imagine your pain. I hope you can find the strength to somehow vindicate your daughters untimely and unecessary death.
I hope too that you can find peace in your heart and be able to cherish the happy memories you have.

More deaths, with the government who created these 'white elephants' continuing to look the other way. The State Attorney General represents the state, and serves at the 'will' of both the Governor, and the people.
Schwartenegger is the epitomy of a venture capitalist, and is quoted as saying that 'most people like to be told what to do.' Of course, as a naturalized, rather than native born citizen, it is clear he must have missed some of those classes for citzenship, and it is, after all, the people of the State of California who have continued to re-elect him, knowing that it is the almighty 'buck' no matter what the 'quality of life' or cost his 'entreprenuerial' view of government might cost the citizens of California, it appears.
It appears his understanding of the English language, and the California Constitution also, still needs work. And there are those who are calling for an 'amendment' to the Constitution in order for him to be 'eligible' to hold the highest office in the land? Bush is bad enough, a Schwartenegger/Bloomberg ticket would truly make Armageddon look like child's play.
What a travesty, and California and, Ms. Vance, you home state of Arizona seem to be raking up the body counts....yet many homeowners still attempting the 'rational and intelligent' and 'politically correct' route, instead of actually calling what has occurred for what it is, fraud and extortion 'under color of law.'
I'm hoping that the two girls murdered by the illegals, for which the Supreme Court is now deliberating whether or not the State of Texas 'violated' these 'illegals' rights by not informing their embassies, actually sue both the federal and state governments for their 'negligence' in protecting their daughters after 911 in 'providing for the common defense.' If that had been done, most likely neither their daughters, nor the 40,000 additional Americans whose lives have been taken by illegals would have been lost.
And maybe Ms. Beardslee needs to contemplate the same action for her loss, against the State of California, for it's 'negligence,' and Constitutional breach. No amount of money can replace the lives now which have been lost. And our government and leadership's disregard for it's lawful and legal citizenry, and it's Constitution, in putting their property and safety continually at risk, no more than tyranny, and treason.
And there are no words that can console for such a loss.

I hope every single reader of AHRC's News will print out this new horror story on the suicide death of a young daughter in San Clemente, who was a new victim of hostile harrassment reported by the American Homeowners Reaource Center.
I made many early trips to Sacramento, California Legislation requesting legal reform of these unconstitutional communities that thrive on bankrupt litigation and unlicensed powers.
The state attorney general should investigate this newest crime, which reminds me of the pain I still suffer in memory of the suicide death of our great friend, and America's great friend, Jim Troutman, from Orange County, California.
How many more good citizens will prefer death to the prison life of a dictatorial Homeowner Association free to deprive citizens of equal protection.
Only the State Legislators and Congress can stop this with help from the state attorne general so make sure everyone in the state and federal legislature is ware another innocent life was life and another homeowner was driven to her unAmerican death.
Also, send copies to the Community Association Institute in Virginia so be sure they share this family's pain and the pain of every American watching our once free nation become a nation of priave private.
