I read the article "HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION INSURANCE, A SWORD, NOTSHIELD." I understand that Chubb Insurance is defending the class-action lawsuit filed against the Association where I am one of the Plaintiffs.
I find absurd that Unit Owners pay the legal fees of the Association's attorneys and Officers/Directors Insurance premiums to protect the wrong doings by the board of directors.
I hope this information may help you point out how wide-spread this problem is.

CHUBB Insurance has also been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on defending hate crimes, discrimmation and fraud in florida lawsuits.
The politicians, CAI lawyers and CHUBB Insurance are one big happy family ripping off homeowners.

Politicians and judges in Canada would not get away with raising millions in bribes from companies that defraud and snatch Canadian citizens' homes.
Governments should make and enforce laws that protect people and homes.
Kennedy protected America's minorities. Americans need to elect leaders with a conscience - leaders who protect the people and their homes.
Glad to be Canadian homeowner
