What a great poem. However, it is sad that such a poem had to be written.
The CAI lackeys in Lost Mountain Township have run roughshod long enough, without the legal authority to do so. As for me, I do not choose to accept Julie Howard's offer to enter into a contract. With no "meeting of the minds" there will be no valid contract.
Of course, the lack of a valid contract has not stopped Richard Calhoun (of Brock and Clay) or Judge Adele Grubbs from illegally and fraudulently attempting to impose a contract on my family. Now, this newly "acquired" law firm, (acquired without notice to the owners) (Weissman,Nowack, Curry, & Wilco) is following the same pattern of fraud that was instituted by Ronald Cannon, Terence Say, et al.
May God have mercy on their souls, and may God help the rest of us.

Here is another "THE GAME OF HOA LIFE": Beware the interlopers in this new HOA "board" game that includes legislators, lobbyists and drum roll............UNIONS! Of all things. It's a road of twists and turns meant to confuse the players. Just when you think you have someone looking out for you - WATCH OUT! - the cliff is only steps away. BEWARE you don't fall over it....
Spoiled Sports---you Know Who You Are
There are some really rotten spoiled-sports out there lurking among us. Many of whom are not even on title to a home and never have been -- but act like they are. OR, they own so many properties in and out of their real names that you'll never be able to pin them down. They are saboteurs who make promises they can't keep or never had any intention of keeping. They want you to think they are part of us. They aren't.
They don't want you to help or participate in exposing the truth. They want you to feel used and abused by those who truly do care and do help. Those bad guys and gals, those "spoiled sports" of the elite insiders clubs with access to legislators -- have been posting their scourge all over the place wherever they can.
They are on private and public lists, they are on private lists, they belong to old groups and new groups sprouting up everywhere that profess to be "the" group that will deliver help to homeowners and make homeowner-friendly laws - Not! If they can do that, then they are a LOBBY and they get PAID, not for "producing" something but for merely just showing up at the capital or putting on a seminar that they CHARGE you-the-homeowner for. Yup, the same group that wants everyone else to put their stuff out there for free, CHARGES OWNERS for their stuff. But they get something important out of that, yup, they get bragging rights.
That's right, they take credit for helping pass laws they think are so great, but we real homeowners can't possibly live by and we hate it and we hate them. If it's hot they'll convince you it's cold. If its cold, they'll convince you its hot. But, those laws don't help US. They only help those lobbyists and their industries. Go ask the legislators that these "insiders" claim to be friends with, hell, those legislators don't even understand the laws that they just passed! They've got some buddy's kid working as their legislative analyst making laws he can't even read, only because the kid worked on his campaign. Not like it used to be, when you had to be educated to understand what the hell your job description was!
Just because a company, I mean "non profit corporation" tells you they are nonprofit does not mean they do not make a profit!!!! They DO profit from being a nonprofit! People like that find their way into Comments on sites like this that are meant to compliment REAL articles and REAL OWNERS, but instead are used to slag other REAL advocate authors. Those non profit groupies are sent out to send private emails with carefully crafted "questions" and "suggestions" written by their lawyers on their payroll, but circulated by what may appear to be just an everyday person, all the while thinking the intended target won't see it, or if they do, they won't be able to do anything about it.
All their interloping is meant to destroy the "good" competition. These interlopers are working hard behind the scenes to take over their part of the money machine built-in to HOAs. And, now, they feign relief for the owners! Don't you believe them, they are a GROUP of lawyers and lobbyists. There's nothing in there mission statement about "victims" - some of which they helped create! They're not interested in the dead, they want the live blood pumping bank deposits from YOU. Look on their Articles of Incorporation, how many lawyers on there? Ever know a lawyer to work for free? Oh they make a lot of promises and have fancy websites, but WHAT do they DO really? WHERE are their pro bono departments?
Their comments, emails, and posts are worded to put a damper on your hopes and in getting the word out -- just take a look at some of those past California laws that were meant to HURT owners -- these guys were out there pumping their work like it was a free flowing oil well. It was! But thank god it didn't work! Anyone with a brain who does not agree with them is mercilessly targeted and embarrassed and then just like an association board of directors does, ostracized and beaten down. Better not disagree with them 'cuz its "their" way, or the highway.
Almost like a Union, remember the unions? Everyone saw what THEY did. Well guess what? Start looking into those advertisements and backgrounds of the people and companies who want YOU to help THEM or support them or who claim to help you. Find out WHERE they came from and what they want from you AND who's helping THEM get it.
Are they assisting the industry or is the industry assisting them? They may profess to help seniors, just not in the way you think they do. You'd be surprised what the seniors are saying about THEM! You'd be surprised what some legislators have let out of the bag too!
