Re: Comment: What about Mr. Calhoun's rights?
Sounds to me like your argument is that a property owner should be able to do anything they want on their property. Should he be allowed to build an airport and fly jets off his property?
I guess you feel that government has no legitimate role to establish laws to protect the public as a whole. The county already established zoning laws which prohibit what he was attempting to do.

What about the rights of Calhoun? It is not as if he intends to be flying out of his property at two am...
Also this would be a different issue if he owned two acres, or a condo with a roof being used as a helipad. Once again we are talking here about ugly americans and how their "rights" are being violated. Unless you would like to buy the ten acres from the man, i.e. put up or shut up.
Just as many here are fed up with homeowners associations telling them what they can and cannot do with their property, I too am fed up with neighbors who complain of nearby airports, general aviation takeoffs, and the like. Motorcycles are more disruptive, and they traverse the roads of communities at all hours. Are we outlawing motorcycles? No. Do we really need more laws telling people what they cannot do? If you want peace and quiet, work hard and go buy yourself your own land. I did. Otherwise, co-exist with your neighbors.
I would agree that they had a valid premise here if he was flying out of his property at ungodly times of the day. He too does need to be a good neigbor!
So please folks, if you enjoy your rights, respect the fact that what makes this a free country is that we in turn must tolerate the differences of others! Remember Ben Franklin and what the man stood for!

Richard Calhoun is the BAR Member, who filed a lawsuit on behalf of a dissolved corporation (LMHA), sued on behalf of covenants for LMTA, while submitting billing records on behalf of LMTHA, a corporation created by the Defendants he sued (the Rices).
With the help of British Judge Adele Grubbs, he was able to violate Georgia (GA) Law, Constitution, and existing case precedence, to negate private property rights for ALL Georgians.
