All the industry beholden lawyers who staff the California Law Revision Commission including Brian Hebert and Nathaniel Sterling need to be fired.
The self serving industry lawyer appointees who sit on the California Law Revision Commission pretending to work for public interest should be removed.

The California State Attorney General's Office, in particular the Consumer Protection Department; the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Major Fraud; the Los Angeles County Superior Court; the California State Appellate Court; the California Supreme Court; and California elected/appointed officials at all levels appear to have known and been given evidence/documentation at least since 1988 that there appears to be a pattern and practice of homeowner association (HOA) lien equity fraud through disputed or alleged bogus liens without proper notice(s), as currently outlined under statute, CC&R's, case law, et.al.
Allegedly these governmental entities and elected/appointed officials were and are waiting for a "critical mass" before acting.
Let your voice be heard as part of the ongoing critical mass and parties that have been and continue to be victimized.

I ran across a website written by a prominent California attorney instructing homeowner association Board members and Managers in the methods of getting around all the new association laws that have gone into effect.
One of the things he covered, in great extent, was how to get around the new foreclosure laws. According to him, if you start the delinquent letters early enough, you can immediately turn the homeowner over to foreclosure at the end of the year or the $1800, whichever comes first. You won't have to wait for the time period to end.
I am sure he is not the only one, with the help of CAI, that is reflecting on how to hurt the homeowner.
There are too many things going on behind the scenes the homeowners have no way of knowing for us not to have an immediate Oversight Committe in California. We do not need the one being planned which will gather statistics or hold anyone accountable for their actions. Homeowners cannot afford to wait two more years while Sacramento sits on its hands and let CAI run rampant through our associations.
What I fear is who will make up this committee. After attending a hearing in Sacramento, asking who would be on the committee and stating there should be homeowners (not all positions being held by Board members or management companies (CACM) or attorneys (CAI)) I received the all knowing look informing me I was barking up the wrong tree.
In the end, the Oversight Committee may need an Oversight Committee.
