Oh yeah...........been there done that.........we did our time in the Orange County so called Halls Of Justice. What a despicable role model for truth !
Unless we had been through it, we never would have believed it. Justice was a joke!
• The courtroom was a circus.
• The motions were endless.
• The delay tactics torturous.
• The mean spirited vendetta of the lawyers was violent.
• They twist and turn the facts to the point you no longer have a clue what the hell is going on.
• The man in black just sits back with his feet up on the desk, taking his cigarette break precisely every 45 minutes.
• Didn't matter where in your testimony you were. he cut you off at the carotid.
• f he wasn't smoking, he was snoring.
Nobody can prepare you for the horrors of a trial in the Orange County Superior Court.
The post traumatic stress will be real.
It can nearly make you violently ill to watch people:
• literally lie through their teeth,
• laugh about it, joke about it,
• enjoy it.
• a modern day public lynching it is.
Lawyers are quick to joke 'sue the bastards' and tell you what a great case you have. Don't believe 'em. Unless they can give you a 100% money back guarantee - don't sue anybody. like any defective product - a lawyer who loses his case should not get paid. period.
In fact. if a lawyer loses a case, he should pay the client for wasting time out of their valuable life. You really can't put a price on that lost time. Their isn't a lawyer alive that will be brutally honest about what it is really like to be sliced and diced on the cold slab of just-ice.
Lawyers like each other, even though they pretend to hate each other. You might catch them behind the scenes being a traitor, giving little nudges or smiles or handshakes to the enemy lawyer. They say it's a professional courtesy thing. It smacks of two-faced, forked tongued, b.s.
The Orange County California court system was just a mirage of justice.
We feel very bad for you. $550,000 in legal fees? Who are the robbers?
