Amen, Username Withheld ... amen !!
We who can must continue to fight the good fight against the corruption and greed of lawyers (usually CAI) and their HOA boards of directors clients. The day we HOA homeowners will win against them is getting closer and closer - especially with the passing of courageous and compassionate people like Jim.
I am very sorry for his loss to you all, as well as to all of us who think and feel as he did. Carry on for him, if you can, in his name. It is said that if God brings you to it, He will see you through it.
Let's win this war against HOA tyranny ... together ... for Jim.

Immediately after the coroner's office took Jim away from his home in Loma Vista Homeowners Association on a Saturday night , his friends asked both local newspapers, the Los Angeles Times and the Register, to write about their litigation problems - the illegal use of half a million dollars of homeowner association money for legal fees, hiding of finances, abusive lawsuits, unaffordable dues to finance lawsuits etc.
Loma Homeowners Association Board member: Jean Carpenter ..
Lawyer: Fiore, Nordberg, Walker, Wolf Willis>/A>
Marquis Management -Diane Fullerton and Pat Gummeson
A young reporter from the Los Angeles Times begged to be given an exclusive interview. Jim's wife agreed and spent much of the following day giving him all the information he needed.
The reporter worked very hard on the story. His editor promised the story would be run "next week" and the "next" but the many "next weeks" never came.
There is an urgent need for the media to write about the terrible losses people suffer as a result of the fraud, corruption and abuse of power in America's homeowner associations, and the cover-ups that occur in some government offices that foster the terrorizing of the most vulnerable of the homeowners.
