Homeowner
Iowa State Website
AHRC Response
Dear Iowa Homeowner:
State Homeowner News websites are publishing news that affects homeowners in the particular State and for providing resources and state links.
Members can submit articles or questions on the site. The volunteer editor has the responsibility of editing and approving articles that educate and help homeowners protect their homes, rights and property.
Editors need to be good at writing and editing and have some knowledge of computers and html.
Jan Jackson is one of our editors and she may be able to share her experiences with you.
You can email Jan using this form:Jan Jackson - Colorado Homeowners News
Best regards

AHRC Response
Thank you for your confidential response and interest.
The AHRC homeowner information websites are pro-homeowner publishing, networking and communications websites.
People publishing on AHRC share information and help bring transparency in the business, judicial and legislative arenas so all members of our communities an particpate and protect their homes and families.
Homeowners do need pro-homeowner attorneys who believe in protecting civil, constitutional and property rights, to be part of their network
However, they do not want attorneys or vendors involved in organized lobby efforts that erode their rights being their source of information.
Homeowners have analyzed two decades of activities of CAI, CACM and ECHO members in the corporate, legislative and media arenas and determined that they have been involved in activities that erode property, civil and constitutional rights and take away homes for lawyers fees. Are you a member of CAI or ECHO or another group which is not pro-homeowner?

Hi,
I have been reading your website for several years and it is my best source for Homeowner Association news.
I am interested in being a contributor, reporter, analyst or editor for the California or general website.
For many years, I was on the board of directors of a condo association with over 1,000 units in the San Francisco Bay Area. For about 20 years I was a practicing attorney in California and am still a member of the California bar.
While on the board, I often dealt with issues relating to resident rights, the Davis-Stirling Act, disability rights and corporate governance.
As far as I know, there is no organization in the Bay Area to assist and advise residents and owners in HOA's in their dealings with boards and associations. I hope that what I've learned can help you and the readers of your website.
Thanks,

I am not wonderful on the computer but I am great with writing, researching and exploring every avenue. If I would be helpful, let me know.
AHRC Response
Dear Joan:
Welcome! Thank you for volunteering. We'll be glad to show you what we can to get you writing and publishing.
As you are in Connecticut, it would be best to use the Connecticut Homeowners News website which does not have a editor.
Please sign up for an account and then send us an email. We will upgrade you user account to that of an editor. This will allow you to submit , publish and design the website.
What you publish will appear on the internet and on newsfeeds of 60 other websites and on ahrc.com immediately.
Each state site should be a resource homeowners in the particular State. It should have useful links to legislation, government, businesses and other information both you and other homeowners need. Editors are free to develop the site and make useful as possible both for themselves and others, The design of the site can be easily changed using templates or custom design.
All the homeowners publishing are volunteers and have said they will help one another.
AHRC volounteers will provide phone support. Please call (949)366-2125 and leave a message for a callback for telephone support.
Best regards

The time and talents of the thousands of AHRC members who are networking on computers have built a powerful force for homeowners and made AHRC the leading source for pro-homeowner information with a worldwide audience.
AHRC is a self-publishing, networking and communications site by homeowners for homeowners, government and businesses. Your article, cartoon, or news item will help this movement grow even stronger. The people are their own best source of strength.
The AHRC State Homeowners News websites e.g. California Homeowners News need volunteer reporters, editors, researchers, analysts, web designers, animators, artists, photographers and communicators.
If you are interested, drop us a line using this link and let us know a little about yourself.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Response to a perspective editor
Dear homeowner:
The State websites are structured to allow multiple editors.
Your insight on your state related issues is an important one that should also appear on your state homeowners news. It would be good for you to submit it there as well as the ahrc.com website and not be concerned about differences with a state site administrator.
AHRC is a self publishing site for and by homeowners. People with differing ideas and experiences have been publishing, sharing information , learning from one another, and using the information to protect their homes and families.
We have several state websites and other websites that do not have any editors yet e..g. California Homeowners News. If you have time and would like to be the editor of one of these, do let us know.
Thank you for taking the time to analyze legislative bills and thank you for sharing your insights with the AHRC.com readers.
Homeowners need this and more homeowners need to do what you do.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
AHRC Staff
