Does this sort of thing constitute INSIDER TRADING and therefore CRIME for which the perpetrators go to jail ?

This is one of hundreds of examples I have read since viewing this website of homeowners being foreclosed upon by a homeowners association.
I am convinced that nonjudicial foreclosure is too easy a remedy. I am in favor of the irradication of nonjudicial foreclosure altogether.
Homeowner associations should be forced to appear in court to gain a court order. This would give the homeowner the opportunity to give facts pertaining the action sought. It just might make a homeowners association think twice about using the court as a remedy, and seek to resolve matters directly with the homeowner.
