Re: Homeowner Association Owners
We need to have laws in place to protect us from the management companies and the Boards of Homeowner Associations who think they are god and that they can threat and unfairly pick on people they just do not like.
We live in the United States of America and we do have rights and we need the laws of the States and the goverment to stand up for us and stop letting these power hungry no bodies push us around.

The California law revisions must take into consideration housing associations that are not of homeOwners, that is co-operatives and community apartment projects. They have many of the same problems with Boards even though they don't have the same issues of individual title, property values and profit-grubbing.

The end result of a government ombudsman is :
(a) An additional fee to every hoa member that will only START at $5 per unit.
(b) You will still have lawsuits.
The best solution is to ban further HOA's and to the extent possible de-HOA.
