4. The good ol' boys network of California politicians  
  Extremely disturbing that the good ol' boys network of California politicians got away with this for decades now.

They should all be held accountable for passing sinister HOA housing laws that allow such a communistic ideology as the control of and subsequent hostile taking of people's homes for a paltry pittance by handfuls of so called "elected" neighbors.

  This is an excellent article; thank you so much! I have been able to forward this article (received by email) to family members in the hopes that they will think twice before buying into a HOA, at least until the laws are changed and "standard" consumer protections and civil rights are restored.

  I like this style --- story telling rather than pure "reporting". Works good for articles like this. I am trying to adopt this style when I can to reach the average homeowner.
