1. Why don't hoa boards and members bond together and have a fundraiser if its so important the hoa has to have their money right now.  
  I can't believe the inhumanity that exists. talk about the group building cabins together, why don't hoa boards and members bond together and have a fundraiser if its so important the hoa has to have their money right now.

When people get a little power, they really get evil. Why not just leave the lien. The lien prceeds every other interest and the mortgage, it will get paid when it get sold.
