| Temecula, California - On January 11, 2006 a board member of "Temecula HOA" reported rigged elections at Paloma del Sol Homeowners Association by Peters & Freedman in Temecula, California. On August 10, 2006 a new board member "Paloma" reported hiding of finances and rewriting of CCRs by Peters & Freedman
COMPLAINT # 2 - BOARD MEMBER "TEMECULA HOA: January 10, 2006:
Peters & Freedman Complaints: Do you know of an attorney who could help me? I have been on the board here in a homeowners association in Temecula, California for the past two years and the stuff that has been going on you wouldn't believe.
We've got a crooked board majority. Merit Property Management is the management company.
It's come to a head in the last couple months with the hiring of David Peters (nasty guy!) and a totally illegal election.
I had three other candidates running with me so we could get a majority but we didnt stand a chance, everything was rigged. We are still using the "district/delegate" system.
We can't overturn this election without an attorney and I can't afford one on my own.
Suggestions? Thank you for any help.
AUTHOR PROFILE OF BOARD MEMBER "TEMUCULA HOA"- COMPLAINT #1 : January 11, 2006
Persecuted board member fighting Merit Property Management and David Peters. Tried to bring in new managment company to save association thousands, Merit didnt like this, currently fighting with David Peters and Merit Property Management to keep me off board during this election. They are fighting very dirty. Need help! Everything is stacked in board majority's and Merits favor. Update - well they won! Big surprise! As an aside, I am a Realtor here in Temecula and a 19 year resident, and single!
COMPLAINT # 2 - BOARD MEMBER #2 "PALOMA" : August 8, 2006:
Peters & Freedman is denying access to finances and records to certain Paloma del Sol Homeowners Association board members and owners. They are also rewriting the CCRs at a cost of $30,000 to the owners. |
