Press Release
Dangerous Liaisons

Close Friendships Shield Public Officials From Answering for Their Wrongs!

Powder Springs, Georgia -
There are some dangerous liaisons at play. When Judge Grubbs recently wed, according to Silvia Lithfield's 2/16/2006 column in the Marietta Daily Journal, Judge George Kreeger officiated in the small ceremony at the Marietta Country Club. It surprised me that a self-professed leader of the First Baptist Church in Marietta would have her wedding at a materialistic location such as Senator John Wiles' (my political opponent) neighborhood, rather than at her church. Those of you who have followed our legal situation should be aware of the illegal assistance Judge Kreeger provided to his friend Judge Grubbs in our Petition for Writ of Prohibition against Judge Grubbs. Attendees at the small wedding ceremony included Chuck Clay, who is neck deep in the crimes against us, including a terroristic threat against Taffy in 2004, when he was our State Senator and a candidate for Congress. Specifically, Clay said to Taffy, Wait til you see what we're going to do to you. We'll take care of you. If Tony Soprano said that to someone, it would certainly be viewed as a threat of violence. Keep in mind, at the time Clay said this, Taffy was a candidate for legislative office, just as she is now. I believe that fits the definition of terroristic threat.

Another attendee was District Attorney Pat Head who has repeatedly refused to prosecute crimes due to his close relationship to the perpetrators. Georgia Supreme Court Justice Harris Hines, who has refused us the opportunity to appeal several matters to his Court, was also an attendee of his good friend's wedding. Senator Isakson was also an attendee. When Senator Isakson was our Congressman, and we sought assistance in beginning a federal investigation, his advice was that we should sell our house and move. I'm sorry, but I don't see that as a solution to crime. In essence, a U.S. Senator is saying to the people of Georgia, if you are a victim of crime, by elected officials and lawyers, move, so they can keep doing it to other good people. What happened to all that talk we keep hearing about the "Rule of Law?"

Other attendees included all the other Superior Court Judges from Cobb. Due to their close friendship with Judge Grubbs is it any wonder these officials refuse to take any action against her for violations of law? In fact, an Atlanta Journal and Constitution reporter told us we had made the judges in Cobb County mad, and they are banding together to protect each other. Of course, that won't be reported in that reporter's newspaper, will it? Under the Code of Judicial Conduct, which is supposed to be enforceable law, judges aren't supposed to harbor personal feelings when they put on their black robe. Yet Judge Grubbs has been allowed to run roughshod over my family for over 6 years, all the while displaying an obvious bias against us.

Cobb County Court Administrator Skip Chesshire is going to be installed as the President of the National Association of Court Management tomorrow, July 13, 2006. Skip has previously been notified of illegal activity regarding court personnel. He passed the buck to Chief Judge Jim Bodiford, who has aided Judge Grubbs on several occasions. An article in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, on 7/02/2006, contains a telling quote by Judge Grubbs, about Skip, "I think he's the best," said Superior Court Judge Adele Grubbs. "He takes care of us." I can attest to that!!! He does a good job of "taking care of" them. Of course, covering up illegal activity usually makes one an accessory to the crime. Not in Cobb County, though!

Bill Kinney's column, in the Marietta Daily Journal, on 7/01/2006, said the following:

"THERE WILL BE some high-ranking Cobb officials present when Superior Court Administrator Skip Chesshire gets sworn in as president of the 4,000-member National Association of Court Management Organization in Fort Lauderdale on July 13.

Chesshire will be the first Southern president in the history of the 21-year-old group. Present will be House Rules Chairman state Rep. Earl Ehrhart (R-Powder Springs) Commission Chair Sam Olens, Superior Court Clerk Jay Stephenson and Superior Court Judges Kreeger, Mary Staley, Jim Bodiford, S. Lark Ingram, Ken Nix, Robert Flournoy III, Adele Grubbs and Stephen Schuster."

About half of this illustrious group is involved in the crimes against us, in one capacity or another. Some of the criminal and civil violations of law they have either directly participated in or helped to cover up include: fraud, corporate fraud, insurance fraud, corporate identity theft, deprivation of rights under color of law pursuant to United States Code, denial of due process, violations of the Code of Judicial Conduct, and failure to follow the rules of the court. Each and every one of them has sworn an oath of office, which requires them to protect the citizens of Georgia. I guess it's not surprising that Representative Earl Ehrhart (my wife's political opponent) threatened my wife with jail, on June 22, 2006, at a televised debate. Of course, he said it under his breath, because he doesn't have the guts to look into someone's eyes he is helping to victimize. Believe me folks, this dangerous liaison between all three branches of government will work to strip you of your rights and property.

It's time for a change, and you CAN make it happen. On July 18, 2006, please vote for Taffy Rice for House District 36 and Andy Rice for Senate District 37. We will work to
STOP GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION AND JUDICIAL MISCONDUCT.

God Bless You and Your Family,

Andy Rice

Candidate Georgia Senate District 37
