Ruling on home foreclosures will stop Gestapo-type sets-outs like Wenonah Blevins by legal tyranny. This giant step still leaves battles for owner damages and the overturning of the Inwood vs. Harris decision. We can stop legal tyranny by getting 85 legislators to vote to sunset the bar
The original lawsuit, resulting in the ruling that Texas Property Code can not be used by lawyers to file foreclosures for legal fees, also asked for legal fees for owners when they win in court against the foreclosure racket lawyers. At present when an owner loses in court he must either pay huge legal fees or lose his home. When the owners wins, as in this case, legal fees of about $100,000 were denied.
The huge problem in Texas which is resulting in the loss of our property rights and all our freedoms arises because citizens are easily intimidated and are fearful, don't want to become involved and are unwilling to spend time, energy and money in fighting for rights.
My fellow Texans, the war has not been won, it has only begun with the winning of the first battle on a broad battlefront. Gird yourselves for battle. Any racket as huge as Community Associations Institute of Alexandria, Va. insured by and emboldened by the mighty Chubb Insurance Corporation will not quietly lie down and suddenly begin to obey the U.S. Constitution.
Here are our marching orders - join us on the front lines- march with us, brave and unafraid!
First: We must realize that legal tyranny is the root cause of almost all our losses of constitutional rights. The Texas Bar is a secret brotherhood of lawyers which operates under the American Bar Association which is a franchise of the Lawyers' Guild of Great Britain with no American governmental certification and regulation. This secret brotherhood protects its members against citizens with its "grievance committees" at which a victim is never allowed to attend. This violates the "due process" rights of the U.S. Constitution. (Its amazing how many citizens don't know that lawyers are completely unregulated). What can we do? Read on:
Second: We must "sunset the bar"(means stopping "business as usual" by lawyers) and put lawyers under Texas state certification and regulations like doctors and teachers. We need only 85 legislators to do this. Contact every Texas Senator and Representative and get their agreement to be one of the 85 and let me know so we can put their names on the internet. Rep. Talmadge Heflin pledges to help sunset the bar.
Third: Before May 8, 2002, send your complaints to the Sunset the Bar Reviewing Commission which will be making recommendation for or against sunsetting the bar. DO THIS NOW, TODAY!
