Why is it no one is talking about the recent indictment and guilty plea of Mississippi Attorney, Richard Scruggs, and others, for bribery, conspiracy and wire fraud?
Apparently, this involves attempted bribery, etc., of a judge in relation to legal fees and monies from victims of hurricane Katrina. There are numerous reports on the web, NY Times, Wall St. Journal, but those who praised him on CNN have reported nothing anybody has heard about.
The judges name is Henrey L. Lackey. I have read there is a second story about another bribery investigation, involving the Mississippi Attorney General

I hope to initiate a federal RICO action (criminal) against the President of my HOA, as well as the other board members and their cabal in my HOA, sometime this year. This article has given me courage and incentive to do that as soon as I can.
The article also gives me real encouragement towards continuing to try to get my petition for a Constitutioal Amendment to abolish all HOAs and common interest communities signed, sealed and delivered to our Secy of State in a timely manner so that that question can be included on our Colorado ballot in 2008 for We The Home-Owning People in the state of Colorado to vote "Yes" on.
