My Arizona homeowners association is fining me for parking in front of my home

Can I sue them for harrassment and where can I find a lawyer?

April 30, 2008

By urbanesage

Phoenix, Arizona -

I moved into my present home in Montera Village Homeowners Association in Arizona last June.

Three months later the opposite neighbor had his jeep parked in front of my house and I received a notice to remove the jeep. I called to say it's not mine. The HOA was angry with me.

From then on they keep sending letters of harrasment to me to remove my vehhicle parked in forn of my house and I refused. I even wrote a letter seeking a meeting with the board of directors and they wrote back to saying they don't have board of directors as the subdivision is new.

Now they have started to fine me. Could I sue them for harrassment and where could I find a lawyer?
