There have been many surprises in the lesson of judicial misconduct and political corruption, but having a personal message written by a judge on the bottom of an Order in a case you are NOT a party to, has to be one of the strangest! Particularly in a case before Judge Adele Grubbs, considering the incarceration of a wife and mother for an inability to pay child support to her ex lawyer/real estate broker husband, WHILE the mother was under Federal Bankruptcy protection! And though ALL of that sounds heinous enough, did I mention, the mother spent 18 months in jail for her inability to pay and her new husband endured 11 months of incarceration for acts he pled NOT GUILTY to and the state possessed NO evidence of!

Yes, my family had endured the fruits of Judge Grubbs proclivity to act outside her jurisdiction, engage in ex parte communications, disregard her judicial canons, and literally violate the law from the bench, ALL following repeated 'Motions to Recuse,' so imagine how I felt reviewing the case of Ailion v. Ailion through public documents.

Now the sting of Judge Grubbs repetitive pattern, coupled with an oral argument delivered on this very topic to the GA Supreme Court on November 7, 2006, [Writ of Prohibition Against Judge Adele Grubbs, available on YOUTUBE], is enough to curl most toes, but the resultant actions after writing about the Ailion Case were even more alarming.

Suddenly Bruce Ailion, Bruce Allen, and/or "Username Withheld from Marietta," seemingly began to literally stalk me! Guess, it's a benefit forget constitutionality, that the President signed a law to prevent cyberstalking and making it illegal to annoy. There were the repeated, unidentified cards espousing the sins and illegality of nonpayment for child support or furthering anyone doing so, also received by Marla's family and lawyer, comments on the web informing I was going to answer for what I had done [referring to writing about the case and the use of a SLAPP Subpoena by Bruce Ailion], and then there was the request made to a fellow lawyer requesting assistance to 'get' me.

So while needless to say, the entire effort bespeaks major undercurrents of misconduct and willful behavior at a minimum, after attending the hearing Mr. Ailion "subpoenaed" me to, I was quite impressed, when I was able to actually witness Judge Grubbs following the law, and granting a continuance to the mother, as the assigned receiver and one of my former neighbors, Bob Silliman, withdrew from the matter, akin to those fleeing a sinking ship!

Now like so many of us, the mother (Marla Ailion Wright), had repeatedly filed Recusals, which of course were consistently denied by Judge Grubbs. And despite write ups of honored guests at Judge Grubbs wedding and even luncheons denouncing any public association with the Ailions, Judge Grubbs preferred to stay involved in the matter, AGAIN despite Federal Bankruptcy jurisdiction, clearly made known to her via documents and testimony in court.

But despite all of these details NOTHING surprised me more than the Order written by Judge Adele Grubbs, resulting from this hearing. In her Order concerning the hearing of November 27th, Judge Grubbs noted a "footnote." The footnote appeared to be directed at articles I had written, which were evidenced by one of Grubbs most supportive publications, 'The Marietta Daily Journal.' It appears in the face of a court document, Judge Grubbs wants others to believe she has NO association with any party related to the Ailion Case, despite her relationship to the current Mrs. Bruce Ailion, or her deceased husband, who like Judge Grubbs was a member of the Cobb Bench.

After viewing matters or results emanating from Judge Grubbs Court, I'm left remembering a few lines from a song, that I cannot shake. In Don Henley's 'The Garden of Allah,' the experience conveyed is focused upon a meeting with the devil. And how uncanny is the mention of an appearance in court to those targeted by connected GA BAR Members, and subsequently denied justice. Welcome to the Cobb County Courts and Courtroom D!

It was a pretty big year for predators
The marketplace was on a roll
