| Marietta, Georgia - Days after Cobb County filed a lawsuit against him, the east Cobb attorney who struck a deal with Powder Springs to fly his helicopter out of his yard said he would stop. Cobb County officials told him no years ago. When Calhoun flew out of his 12-acre property two years ago, Cobb County officials warned him he was violating zoning laws that prohibit helicopters from flying out of residential areas. The Cobb officials asserted the lease is a "transparent pretext" to circumvent the county laws so he can use the helicopter.
