| Atlanta, Georgia - When Attorney Richard Calhoun on behalf of Brock Clay Calhoun (BCC) filed a retaliatory and fraudulent lawsuit (www.RiceGang.com), after my husband and other neighbors objected to an illegal sale of property by BCC along with Troutman Sanders to the Consulate of the Netherlands, our view of Cobb County, Georgia, and the world was about to change. Like the lessons provided by Leo Frank and Jim Conley, Ilsa Koch and Lucius Clay, Fred Tokars and Leah Sears, Brian Nichols and Ashley Smith, District Attorney Paul Howard and Roy Barnes, events and people often speak volumes, while reminding us of historical trends most would rather forget!
There are many choices each of us has and are forced to deal with, but none more pressing than the test of truth. What would you do, if you were defrauded by a law firm, claiming ties to the White House and Congress, who was key in the ramp up of the Republican Party? Would you give up your homeplace, property, children's safety, good name, choosing to take the easy way out and just turn your head? And if that is your choice, what are your options?
It has been a 7 year test for neighbors, elected officials, the Georgia Courts, the press, and those witnessing an open season for fraud. And while not one of the aforementioned chose truth, my husband and I continued to maintain our commitment to God. When Bob Barr and Edwin Marger upon reviewing documents, identified what we had been and were enduring as "RICO", Bob soon after began working on the failed Congressional Campaign of BCC Senior Partner Clay. Following that effort, Barr began writing with regard to the injustice of current policies to include the 'Patriot Act'.
And when we began talking about what Attorney Calhoun had perpetrated, who he had been able to involve in fraud, and the assistance garnered by asserting multiple VOID orders, people just stared in shock. As we have learned TRUTH is a powerful and sometimes a frightening force for others. But as for us, honor and truth create the ties that bind, and reveal to each of us, what is most paramount, treasured, and necessary.
It is in that vein, my husband and I have chosen to run for elected office, against well connected Republicans, who were brought to politics by senior partner Clay, a lawyer/politician/former Cobb County District Attorney, possessing familial ties to the White House, dating back to what Andrew Jackson referred to as 'the most corrupt bargain in history'.
While our campaign is homegrown, we pray those, who understand the necessity of truth and honor the 'rule of law' will join in reclaiming a lawless and oily landscape, that is in desperate need of restoration. What path will you choose? Will we continue to elect lawyers furthering non judicial foreclosures, politicians who owe lawyers, or those taking money from oil companies and CAI interests? And do you plan to further or promote legislators that work or accept legislation by Mobil Oil and their related interests?
