Bending the Truth to Fit the Need

Intimidation by Unscrupulous Attorneys

San Diego, California -

It is unbelievable what some attorneys do in the name of the "law" thinking that they can use their position as officers of the court to intimidate people.

Recently there have been all kinds of antics by specific attorneys that want to discredit this web site only because they are being found out. As president of a homeowners association , I find it very interesting that attorneys will do such things as - rig an election by any means possible to keep their contract , or insure that they can get the contract for a defect lawsuit.

Since posting the story about this nearly a year ago on this web site, there have been several associations who have contacted me. I have given them proof of this misrepresentation of our previous attorney and previous management company. These are facts, facts that I did not know until I was able to SEE the records of my own HOA.

It was amazing that the attorney's records showed the management company and his office working against the membership in an election. We made the records available to everyone in the HOA who wanted to see them. The membership was appalled that an attorney could take liberties with his position as an officer of the court. This same attorney is now trying to discredit this web site - what a surprise! Not really!

The same attorney's copy machine has made unsigned letters concerning members of our board which defamed the board members. Of course the coward did not sign the letter. A forensic investigation proved the letter was copied on the same copy machine as documents hand delivered by the attorney to a board meeting.

The people who live in HOA's NEED to understand that THEY are the membership. These attorneys are VENDORS, people that they are paying to do a job for them. The only power that these attorney's have is the power that YOU as an association give them. Guess what you can do... FIRE THEM . Get rid of them.

If you have an attorney who is telling your association that you can sue people who are a part of the association - think twice about keeping the attorney. The only person who is going to win in this situation is the attorney. The way that he will win is to line his pockets with your money.

Remember that the reserves are just that reserves for the future not a pay check for the attorney who sees dollar signs every time he runs your meeting or sues someone in your association. Just think about it - YOU could be NEXT! An attorney who is that unscrupulous as to advise the board to sue a member of the association, will also sue YOU the minute that your back is turned. And of course, it is the answer of the attorney and more than likely the management company who is working with him that this is all "attorney client privilege." Who is paying for the privilege? If your dues are paying, think twice about the attorney and who he represents - it is more than likely his pocket book - NOT your HOA.

If you want more information about how to get rid of these attorneys, call me. I will gladly meet with your board of directors and show you exactly what happened to us. It is amazing how similar it has been to those HOA's who have see the information. It is nearly criminal what happens.

You can reach me through this web site. I will be HAPPY to tell you the truth and show you the evidence.

Remember every attorney who answers a question with a question or a sentence of more than 5 words - is probably hiding something. If they ask you a question, it normally needs to be answered with "yes" or "no". Do the same with them. Ask them questions that they can answer with only a "yes" or "no" - If they are unable to do so - it is time to give them the final two words, "You're fired."
