Under this law, a property owners' association may not foreclose on a lien when the debt owed consists solely of fines assessed by the association or attorneys fees associated with those fines. The association must give written notice before suspending a homeowner's right to use common areas, assessing charges for property damage, or assessing a fine for violation of association rules.

I am a True Christian contacting a US President that publicly has confessed to be a Christian, please read my letter and respond.
I am contacting you on some discovery of the abusive and rights violation conducted by private non-profit corporation. This non-profit corporation suppresses its members to be members to the point of not allowing elections, right to vote within the organization, demands additional taxes, is required to produce financial statements, but does not post that information, conducts secret monthly meetings. And whenever a honest member highlights these discoveries, the non-profit organization conducts a financial arrest against that members, in which that member suffers significant loss and damage of financial status.

We live in America. Home Owners Associations and their hired management companies MUST be regulated and the individual owners MUST be able to rely on the state government to support their rights and stop allowing Homeowner Associations from foreclosing on property! PLEASE it is vital that you pass, even in an emergency session if necessary, a bill that provides Texas home owners who are in home owners associations protection against HOA's and their management companies from foreclosing on property!
