VISION - The Office of Legislative Legal Services is the non-partisan, in-house counsel for the Colorado state legislature and writes laws, produces statutes, reviews administrative rules, comments on initiated measures, and serves as a resource of legislative information for the public. Our vision is to serve Colorado's General Assembly and citizens, providing these services with excellence, to forward the cause of effective self-government.
GOAL - Our goal is to be the best legislative law office in the United States. We will accomplish this by anticipating and responding to the legal needs of Colorado legislators and their constituents and by demonstrating our absolute commitment to the continuous professional development of our staff.
PURPOSE - Our purpose is to provide excellent ethical, professional legal service in a dynamic work environment of cooperation, competence, initiative, respect, integrity, and teamwork that enables our employees to successfully balance our public and private lives.
